MAN TAU Gears Up For A “New Beginning” On His Latest Single
A review of Man Tau’s new single, A New Beginning
Germany has been at the center of several significant genres over the past couple centuries. From the early development of classical music via Bach to the development of Krautrock through acts like NEU! German artist’s have addressed musical creativity with uniqueness and authenticity. MAN TAU is no different. The budding rock artist is working on the development of a new genre called “Rainbow Rock”. The genre sounds as bright and whimsical as you might assume. Further, it captures the euphoric bliss of a post-COVID world and the freedom of countries opening up to a fresh tomorrow.
His new single, released today, is called “A New Beginning”, and is a soothing chord-heavy synth-based tune. The song has the psychedelic production of Tame Impala and the spacey vocal delivery of Kurt Vile. Nonetheless, the combination of these artistic styles is fully MAN TAU’s. On the single, he’s dealing with the heartbreaking truths of a troubling relationship. While the warning signs were there so was love and admiration. Nonetheless, the hard reality set in by the end of the tune while the synth’s glided across the soundscape like a rainbow across the sky.
